Wood Carving
In this merit badge session, Scouts will learn basic safety and practical skills for carving wood. Wood Carving merit badge is not recommended for first-year Scouts, as all participants must have earned the Totin’ Chip award before enrolling in the session. Additionally, some hand strength is necessary to complete the week’s projects. Throughout the week, Scouts will complete a round carving and a relief carving. Knives and other materials will be provided. There is a $5 fee for program materials.
