Summer Camp Program
Session Selection & Program Guidelines
- Open Access: Per Scouting America policy, all merit badges are open to any Scout meeting the maturity and skill requirements.
- Scoutmaster Approval: Unit leaders are responsible for approving session choices and verifying prerequisite completion.
- No Repeat Badges: Scouts who have already earned a merit badge may not retake the session, ensuring space for all campers.
High Adventure Programs
Raven Scouts: First-Year Program
Designed specifically for new Scouts BSA members to master core outdoor skills, make lifelong friends, and kick start rank advancement in a supportive environment.
Raven Scouts focuses on skill mastery and completing pre-selected rank requirements. We recommend choosing ONE session (Morning OR Afternoon) to keep half the day open for introductory merit badges.
Morning Session: Raven Scouts
Scout • Tenderfoot • Second Class
Designed for first-year campers and new Scouts. Hands-on instruction in knots, knife safety, map/compass, first aid, and outdoor ethics.
Afternoon Session: Senior Raven Scouts
First Class
Ideal for Scouts progressing toward First Class. Focuses on advanced lashings, orienteering courses, emergency first aid, and plant/wildlife identification.
